Muti-color Agate
Description
Details
Agate is a common, often banded, translucent to opaque variety of chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz) known for its durability (6.5–7 Mohs hardness) and vibrant color patterns, often found in volcanic rocks. It forms in concentric or horizontal layers, typically appearing in white, grey, red, blue, green, and black, created by impurity deposits.
